Stalker, Testimony and Orion Forever!

Dear Friends and Family,
so we had transfers! I got to stay at the victory station for 9 hours waiting for my new companion coming from the northern part of the mission.  I am in the southern part so that was fun.  I got to talk to the zone leaders for a while because they were the only ones there and then a couple other elders who were waiting for their companion.  Yea I totally got interrogated.  one of our zone leaders goes home this next transfer so he was asking me all these dating questions and to be honest I FORGOT EVERYTHING!!NO!! I am going to be one of those missionaries that is so awkward when I come home.
My new companion is sister Pati-on and she is from Mindinaw and she is so quiet but I love her.  we get along really well and are working hard.  I am really worried that since sister Fuggle left that the area will fall apart.  I guess you could say that I don't trust myself with the lords work. I want the area to continue progressing so I am doing all I can to make sure it keeps going which means I really got to get out of my shell.  basically I can’t have a shell.
We have 2 baptisms planned for this month and we actually have 5 total baptisms next week between the four of us.  I am really excited to see the work progress this month and to see people start changing their lives.
One of our investigators is the Llemado Family and they are trying to get rid of their WOW problems which is smoking and kape so that has been a good month struggle but they really want it.  Lino and his family didn't come to church because the night before they were drinking so he was shy, we are trying to get them to understand how important coming to church is and that it’s ok to still come to church you just need to have a change of heart and keep trying to do better.  it was so funny because we committed them to come to church this next week and gemma, his wife, said that they can’t commit but they will try and then lino turns to her and says "oh I am going to church I will force myself"  they had a little bit of a petty fight back and forth about it and I just laughed because lino is so dedicated.  we committed his son martin to a BGD and hopefully they will all be baptized in April.
We gave out at least 3 BGD's today and it was crazy.  one of them who told his friends that he doesn't want to be baptized but he wants to change like them, accepted a BGD and we are working on his WOW problem but he is committed. he was drinking on Sunday after church and that showed him that if he doesn't quite right away he can’t get baptized.  HIs name is Junior and he is about 19. he goes home to some place in April and he wants to be baptized so bad.  I hope that the lord will help him be strong but we will see what happens.
then one of our other investigators we have been working with is the Abanes family.  they are struggling for money but she loves it when we come over and she always has a better day.  her children are noticing a difference and they tried to get her to come to church on Sunday but some problems came up.  Man I love kids for that reason, they see the truth and they just know it. yesterday night she texted me and said that after we left some job opportunities came to their jersey shop and she said that she now recognizes that when we come over and when she reads the book of Mormon (which calls to her to read it) she receives blessings.  I told her that that is the lord giving her the sign she is looking for.  she needs to act on it now.  I hope to give her and her husband a BGD soon and hopefully on Saturday they will attend the baptism and feel the spirit.
Then I actually had for one of the first times someone tell us never to come back.  the girl was Baptist and we taught her and she had all this stuff to say and rebuttals and I just couldn't keep up.  finally I tried to commit her to read the book of Mormon to know for herself and she denied it.  she didn't accept the book, she wouldn't even try to come to church she said that she went to her church and that we were adding to the bible even though she confessed she doesn't read the bible. WHAT!? I found out later that the Baptists tell everyone not to read the book of Mormon "that is how they get you" down.  whatever I know it is true and it is up to you if you want to accept it.
I officially have a stalker.  he came to our apartment (because we I2l him and his friend) and asked why we never came to him.  honestly I didn't know where he lived because when you asked people directions to their house they say down or over there and that explains a lot. well stupidly like I always do we went there and taught him and now he is in love with me we will not go back and his dad thinks the old testament is wrong, only reads the new testament and doesn’t believe in prophets even though he is a minister of the catholic church.  they confuse me sometimes.
Lastly we had a great small bonfire on Monday and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows and all that fun stuff until we were sick.  it was a great way to go out.
For my spiritual thought I was thinking yesterday about bearing a true testimony and not just saying things at the front.  how do we do that? well it is from being humble and paying attention to the spirit. he makes all things known unto us and a true testimony is a conviction from our heart that we know something is true. We bare it humbly then we can let our hearts speak for us as we bear conviction of our experience.  a testimony is not meant to be a story telling but to be a way that we can show our heavenly father that we know that he has blessed us and to help each other feel the spirit.  I know I need to work on this but I know that a testimony is more powerful coming from the heart "powerful testimony is not dependent on the eloquence or the volume of your voice but on the conviction of your heart." lets grow our conviction in our testimony and I hope we all can have a stronger testimony.  Thank you all for your support and I hope you have a great week.
Love,
Sister Snow

I am the longest person to stay in the Orion zone from well when I first got here.  I am so over it. literally serving an Orion mission right now. I feel old!
I am really tired of it.  sister Pati-on is showing me pictures and I want to go north so bad.  whatever I've got cool stories.

Well I got to go I love you so much and I am so grateful for you guys.  I will be sending a letter to you because I love you all so much. keep it up and I know that we can all do this.  I still have times when I dream about the day I will walk in that airport and see you all there and I know I will just cry and be so glad for all the things that I have learned and done and for my family who stayed with me all the way and was there for me.  I love you so much I love you all so much and I am grateful for all of you and for the family that I have.  Just love you all.  Keep working hard and most of all keep reading and praying. I know sometimes it is hard but it is worth it.  Even just a little.  love you!!
