Investigaters family tree

Dear Family and Friends,
Well this week was a bit of . . . .  well I am not sure how to explain it.  If you all remember Kathy, the one who has had so many witnesses that this is the true church well we went to her on Tuesday and that was one of the most confusing lessons in my life.  I tried to resolve concern and help her know that what he pastor was telling her was wrong and that she just needed to come to church.  she texted us on Wednesday and dropped us.  I was so sad!! I loved this lady and she would be a great member and she would find answers to all her questions and more if she would just give up her church and come to ours at least one Sunday.  here is the thing though, the light or spirit of Christ that everyone has only warns us once to do something or I guess tells us and if we choose not to follow it he won't come back for a while.  she was told more than once and she kept choosing so I guess it is not her time.  I know one day she will feel those feelings again and I just hope is it sooner than later.  on Monday we befriended one of our less actives sons who is also less active. so here is the family tree.  the dad, bobby, has been less active for 14 years.  his wife is in the middle east somewhere and they have 5 children 3 boys and 2 girls.  the wife is the daughter of Tatay Dalisay who is this old guy who just knows a ton about the gospel and like so boggle my brain with questions and they, Dalisay, have been sealed as a family.  brother Bobbys, 2nd to last daughter has been baptized in the last year and their son, Jobert, who is the youngest of the sons.  we are teaching his oldest son, Lawrence and he will be baptized on the 15th.  the youngest daughter doesn't want anything to do with the church for now and the 2nd son is busy.  we have already converted one of their cousins, Paulo, and we are slowly working on the rest of the family.  WHAO!! yea it is crazy and so much fun.  I love that family almost as much as my own. sorry fam! they are truly amazing and so funny and on Monday we befriended Jobert.  he is great at skateboarding and made these cool bracelets for us and then taught us how to make them.  BRT is so important when it comes to helping people come to the gospel.  I am realizing that now, but the best part is, their dad came to church yesterday and he was so happy.  I am excited to see what else we can do with the family.
One of our other investigators the Llemado family, this is the one about the brother who is getting better because Lino is reading the book of Mormon, well we are teaching his son and he is also reading the book of Mormon.  his brother has made a full recovery and Lino has seen changes in his life.  he doesn't get mad as easily and is more calm with his family.  he son and wife have seen it too and we have really grown a great relationship with them.
One thing that I think is really important I want to share this week is the importance of really befriending people.  as disciples of Christ (all of us) we need to think like Christ and really think about what is happening in these people's lives.  we need to take time to get to know their needs and their likes and dislikes before we go shoving stuff down their throat.  through getting to know them we show them rather than tell them how great the gospel is and how it feels to be loved by a loving heavenly father.  we are sometimes the medium that our heavenly father needs to help these people and we need to be aware of those needs and promptings.  I know that is why these people are coming to church because they see that we love them and they want to feel more of that love.  I know that that is why people stay converted.  we don't just tell them we help them feel and see.  so I guess for home you can apply that to being a visiting and home teacher or being a parent even.  we need to all help each other feel our saviors love.  I know this to be true and so important and I am thankful for all of you that have done that for me.  I hope you all have a great week and I will talk to you all next week.
Love,
Sister Snow
