Dear Brother and Sister Snow,

I am very pleased to inform you that your daughter, Sister Brittny Chantel Snow, has been called to serve as a trainer of new missionaries.  Several factors are considered in the selection of a trainer, and your daughter satisfies them all.  Her new companion is Sister Aileen Rasos Baui.

Sister Snow is an outstanding proselyting missionary. She follows the mission rules, and has earned a well-deserved reputation for her obedience, work ethic, and ability to get along well with members, investigators, and her fellow missionaries.  She also exemplifies Christ-like leadership among her peers.

As a trainer of a new missionary, she will work closely with her companion and be a mentor to her in all aspects of missionary work.  With her quiet dignity, she will be a shining example to her companion and to others that she will come in contact with.   Her obedience and love for the work will be passed on to her companion and much success will come because of her lasting influence.

We are proud to have your daughter in our mission and we are excited to see her growth in fulfilling her responsibilities as a trainer.

Sincerely,

Roberto Bayobo Querido

Dear Friend and Family,
Well as you all know I am training now and let me tell you it is not what I thought it would be.  But on transfer day I wasn't too worried about what would happen I was really excited to learn and to grow in myself and find out who my new companion was.  So we took the drive to Olongapo I was filled with excitement and seeing all my district and batch made the day so amazing.  I got to see my old companion and we got to learn together.  When it came time to figure out who are companions were I scanned the crowd and thought who will she be and I was one of the last ones to find out but when I saw her I was excited because she is my Anak or my child in the mission.  They make us all a family here so I have a sister and I have a cousin we are all connected and I wanted to raise a good child and hopefully I will but one thing I learned that is need to do is get on my knees and pray for help.  I can NOT do this by myself!  The first day was really hard because I had to make all the decisions and I had no idea what to do and on top of that I am juggling a million other things in my brain.  as we went to our last appointment of the day I dropped my planner.  Ok those of you that know me, I have a lot of things in my brain all the time so I need to write them down so I don't have so much in my brain.... well that was all in my planner and we had district meeting the next day so I sort of freaked out.
I had a break down and just cried because I felt like a horrible trainer wow sister snow it is only the first day and you already feel that the worst trainer get over yourself. Well the next morning before we left for district meeting I said to myself ok lets be positive and go see if we can find it.  so with a prayer in my heart I went to the place that I think I lost it and .... yes I found it.  it was  test for me to see if I could turn a bad situation into a positive experience and although I struggled at the beginning I hope to attack the next one with more confidence.
one thing that I have had seen since sister Gonzales left was a relationship with all the people I have taught.  our recent converts and our baptism this week cried when I gave them the letters from sister Gonzales and it was point when I could step in and hopefully have sister Baui grow a relationship with them too. then on Sunday we had the baptism and it went alright so many things went wrong and it didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked but I know that they felt clean and happy and their countenance changed.  sister Nava gave a very heartfelt testimony and I asked them both later how they felt and they said really good and clean and happy.  Then we had the opportunity to have a primary program and although, like all primary programs, it wasn't too organized I really felt the spirit and I had to play the piano but i was happy to do it for the primary president.  she was very grateful that I stepped in to help and i was grateful to use my talent even if it was only the top hand.
As for our area we have had some challenges.  one of our baptismal goals moved to a new place in a different area and one of the people we want to be baptized said that they only want to listen and no do.  How do you react or handle that?  ah so hard and I feel like it is because they only listened to sister Gonzales but I guess they are just ready.  One thing I learned today in my personal study is that although we may not know what we are doing or why we need to strengthen them because as missionaries that is our job we are not out to find those who want to listen only but to share with all and maybe one day it will strike their hearts and they will be a baptism for someone else.  so with a p-day ahead of me to rest and a week full of challenges I face it with a desire to be better every day and find what I need to learn from this new challenge in my life.  I love you all and I am so happy to be able to write you each week and tell you about my life.  I am so blessed to be where I am and with the people I am with learning the things that my heavenly father wants me to learn to become a better person.  I hope you all wake up with the same desire every day.... to be better than you were the day before and to love all because we are all in this together and we are all working through struggles.  I love you all and I will see you all soon.
